Tying the knot under the Arizona sun
As a wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of capturing so many beautiful weddings. One of my absolute favorites was Karsten and Rebecca's March wedding that took place at the stunning, Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, AZ. They chose a palette of soft pastels to complement the natural colors of the desert, and the results were absolutely breathtaking. Rebecca wore the most unique, hand-made dress with floral details and Karsten complemented her perfectly in his olive green tux.
Their ceremony was held outside in the hot Arizona sun, surrounded by the towering cacti and desert blooms. They had an early ceremony under the trees which the shade definitely made a difference to us in those three digit temperatures. We took advantage of the stunning venue for some photos afterwards before heading to their family home to celebrate these two for the rest of the night. Their reception was so thoughtfully decorated and every single detail was just perfect. Rebecca, Karsten and their families put together an unforgettable evening that I am so grateful to have captured. They dined on delicious food and danced the night away under the clear sky full of stars. The atmosphere was so cozy and just love-filled, simply put.
It was the most beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and stunning views. It was SUCH an honor to capture these memories for Rebecca and Karsten to have for years to come.
If you're considering a spring wedding in Arizona, I highly recommend it! Especially since we couldn't even escape the 100 degree weather in March. We had the most unique, beautiful backdrop for our day together and you truly can expect nothing less when tying the knot in Arizona.
